Heliconias (also known as lobster-claw, wild plantain, or false bird-of-paradise) are stunning, colorful flowers with very bright claw-shaped petals. The plant’s uniqueness comes from the fact that its petals appear from its stem in a well articulated row. The shapes of the petals vary and they come in a range of bright colors in the red to orange spectrum.
